Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. About this policy
Smartceutix Technologies Ltd uses limited browser storage for website choices and presentation. Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage and session storage are different technologies with similar privacy implications. This policy covers those technologies in this version of the website.
For information about the controller, personal data and your rights, read our Privacy Policy. Contact us at info@smartceutix.com.
2. What this version stores
| Name and provider | Technology and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
smartceutix-consent-v1Smartceutix | Local storage. Records a visitor's explicit cookie choice, its date and the version of this notice. It is used to respect that choice, not to identify a visitor for advertising. | 180 days. An expired record is ignored and removed when the site next checks it. |
smartceutix-birth-of-chip-rev03Smartceutix | Session storage. Records whether the introductory animation has already run, so it is not repeated within the tab's session. It contains the word “seen”, not a tracking identifier. | Browser tab session. Browser session-restoration features can restore session storage. |
The cookie-choice record is stored after you make a choice and is needed to remember it. The animation flag is a presentation preference, not an analytics cookie. Browser storage may be unavailable or may be cleared by your browser; in that case choices or the introductory animation may be presented again. The website remains accessible.
3. Optional analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising are not enabled in this release. There are no analytics or marketing options to accept while those services are unavailable. The cookie notice therefore lets you acknowledge this information and review the policy, rather than asking you to consent to tracking that does not run.
If analytics are enabled in a future version, this policy will first identify the service, purpose and storage duration. The controls will offer equally accessible “Reject optional”, “Accept analytics” and preference choices. No analytics script will load before consent. Closing the controls or continuing to browse will not count as consent. Advertising will remain disabled unless separately described and authorised.
4. External resources and hosting
Webflow delivers the hosted website and processes its configured native forms. Google Fonts supplies the typography used by the design. Those requests can disclose technical information such as an IP address to the service involved, even without analytics cookies. See the Privacy Policy for the related information.
This inventory describes the application storage included in this release. Hosting security features or future embedded services must be checked before they are added, and this policy updated if they introduce additional storage. External social links do not load embedded social widgets on this website.
5. Managing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the controls. When an optional service is available, you can withdraw consent there as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal stops future collection through this integration and removes accessible analytics cookies; it does not undo earlier lawful processing or automatically delete records already held by a provider.
You can also inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Deleting the choice record makes the notice appear again. Deleting the animation flag may cause the introduction to play again. Browser controls may affect other website features and do not themselves request deletion of data previously sent to a provider.
6. Updates and contact
We will ask for a new choice when the purposes or services requiring consent materially change. We also ask again when the saved choice expires. For questions, contact info@smartceutix.com, or write to Smartceutix Technologies Ltd, North Point House, Suite 3D, New Mallow Road, Cork, T23 AT2P, Ireland.
